I read alot of books on this subject and consider myself very well versed. I have read a and enjoyed all of Dr. Michael Newton's books (Journey of Souls is a must read for anyone remotely interested in this topic)- I have read all of Dr. Brian Weiss's books, Nacy Dennison, Raymond Moody over 35 books on this topic. And I have to say that this book was very entertaining yet very informative on topics the others do not dive into as much. This lady is a medium so she tunes into the "radio" signals from the other side and gets a good understanding on what is going on. I am somewhat leary of mediums- but I do believe that they exist and do connect. John Edward I certainly put in that category and I would this author as well. It is really interesting how she confirms many things that I have read from Newton and Weiss etc.The book is very easy to read and is like I said entertaining at the same time. She has a great chapter on negativity and the influences of negative energy and how to deal with it. She talks alot about Karma and how we have chosen this life to conquer the challenges that face our soul and how if you dn't get it right this time we can always try again. Very deft way of dealing with a heavy subject.Great read- surprisingly so. highly recommended.
Ms. Bertoldi is a natural as a writer, or if she works hard at it, she does a fantastic job because it sure reads easy. The narrative was so personable, it was a pleasure to feel I was in her company. The book has a lovely feel to it.I loved hearing about her life and the stories of clients she read. I loved hearing about our soul's purpose and karma and the lessons we are here to learn.I've read a good number of memoirs and books by psychics and/or mediums and I'd put this in the top ten. But because I have read a lot about this stuff already, much was not new. She writes so well, though, it didn't matter. Some things I like to hear over again in different words from different people.I really appreciated her sharing how she struggled with difficult in-laws for many years. It's good to know that even a person with an inside track to the Other Side is not exempt from painful human feelings and lessons that return again and again.The last part of the book with tips on how to live a more positive life was not as interesting to me, although it will be perfect for others. I am always looking for Other Side stories and am not as interested in reading again about mindfulness, prayer, visualization, and so on -- not that it isn't vital to a life of well-being. It is and I practice it. I just personally have read enough about it over the last forty years.I will definitely download her other books.
Inside the Other Side is about the world beyond the veil-death-heaven-the spirit world, or whatever you want to call it, and Concetta Bertoldi gives us the tour. Able to see ‘dead people’ from an early age, Concetta finally gave up her job as a receptionist to work full time bringing comfort to those who’ve lost loved ones to the ‘other side’.I find Concetta’s writing to be funny, insightful and compassionate. She gives us hints on how to open up to the other side ourselves, while explaining how it all works. Some of the chapters include ‘energy and the body’, how to deal with negativity and a subject I’d never heard of called ‘Mission Entities and Mystical Travelers’.These Mission Entities & Mystical Travelers are those who come to earth as spiritual seekers. This seeking will be a part of the incoming soul’s agenda from day one, and I recognize this in myself. Books about the ‘other side’ always manage to make it on my reading list, and have for all of my life, though I couldn’t explain to anyone why it is so important to me.Missions Entities are here to ‘facilitate a correction, to help bring about a necessary change that reaches beyond their immediate family and friends. Often their mission will require great sacrifice; sometimes it may even require that their death be an example or be some kind of catalyst so others can see things a different way.’ Page 77-78Concetta even lets her readers in her own experiences showing that even a psychic can be all too human. I found her book to be both enlightening and a fun read. She talks about the ‘other side’ as if it’s just someplace you could visit in by hopping in your car. As if it’s as commonplace as going to the a restaurant you’d hadn’t been to before.Reading Inside The Other Side makes death feel, not like and end, but like going home. I highly recommend this book for someone who’s lost a loved one to the ‘other side’ so that they might find comfort in knowing their loved ones are even better than okay.
This is my absolute favorite book of all time! It explains so much! It made everything make sense to me! Her other books, 'Do Dead People Watch You Shower' and 'Do Dead People Walk Their Dogs' are also fabulous! EVERYONE needs to read this book, it's a life changer!
