This product does not contain "real page numbers based on the print edition" like Amazon claims. There are no page numbers listed on Android or iPad kindle applications and no way to turn page numbers on. Amazon only provides a location number that is different from the print editions page number. This makes the product useless for citations and worthless for use in a classroom setting.Update 2/5/17: Called Amazon Support and they were unable to resolve the issue. They acknowledge the product description states this book should have page numbers on the iPad and Android Kindle Apps but they cannot explain how to turn this feature on. Only the location number is visible.

This was a required textbook in a graduate-level course on ethical business leadership. Compared to most of the textbooks I've had to purchase, this one seemed easier to read: it maintains a casual tone throughout, while still providing in-depth information. My favorite parts were the film notes, where they would describe the ethical issues faced by characters in various films- many of them recent. Our professor assigned us to groups and we had to watch the film and describe the actions of the characters with regards to the concepts presented in the text, which I thought was a novel method of testing our comprehension of the text.

This is book is a must-have for any leader. It's a complete guide on how to lead ethically, to determine what kind of leader you are, and to focus on how you can improve. We read a chapter at a time for graduate school which really broke down the text. Discussion, of course, lead to a better understanding of the book as well. I enjoyed the quizzes in each chapter that help you apply theory to every-day scenarios. Others also like the references to movies that showcase ethical issues.

I had to rent this book for a class I'm taking. It is filled with the writers opinions which would be fine except it is terribly difficult to follow.I hope I don't need to use it again in the future. It is filled with a lot of no brainer common sense "ethical" challenges and doesn't ever really reach real ethical dilemmas that leaders actually come in contact with.

I've never had a textbook tell me how much of a leader I am, or how much I suck at leadership. This book does both in a weird way. You can use it as a textbook, but some of the lessons here were actually pretty valuable (as an example, it helped map out a personal mission statement, which is useable on any resume). It had its moments of clarity, as well as moments of confusion, but it's a decent read.

Using this for a doctoral-level course in the Ethics of Leadership. Excellent text; well-written, easily readable and organized in a very logical manner. Would highly recommend.

I just recently completed an Ethical Leadership class..My Instructor selected this book as our textbook. I can honestly say that he could not have chosen a better book. This book really allows you to understand Ethics and Ethical Leadership. It also forced me to take an honest assessment of myself as well. When I say "honest assessment", I'm merely saying it enabled me to see if I was operating ethically in all levels of my life. I must admit there is room for improvement, which I am currently working on.Excellent book...I refuse to sell this one, I will hold on to as a reference/guide.Thank you.

This is one of the most thorough and complete books I've read about ethics and leadership. Not only does the author explain the topic in a deep and dense way, he also reveals and exposes several competing ideas. If your brushing up your leadership skills or if you studying this subject for a school, you simply can't go wrong with this reading.
