AI've been living the KETO lifestyle for about a month, and doing a ton of reading. I wish I had started here. I am a 45 year old man, and I started at 238 lbs. Anyhow, I read this book this morning. It is an inspiring book from a real life success story, and is full of common sense ideas to help someone like me, and probably you, since you are reading this, to keep you motivated, and help you make the move to a realistically sustainable lifestyle change that promises a healthier and happier you. It's a fairly quick read, but I got as much from this book as from a month of reading and research. It's light on the "scientifical" stuff, but full of insight. This is a MINI Keto guide- I read the entire thing in less than an hour...Having researched and followed Keto for a month via experience, reading, videos, internet searches and Keto Bloggers, I can honestly say there was not a single fact, opinion or piece of advice I hadn't heard or read before. I am a little perturbed that I spent the money on this one. Obviously, the description and gushing reviews swayed me. If you've been on Keto for more than two weeks, you already know anything you can glean from this book.

I really liked this book because I FINALLY found an author who basically gives me permission to shop at regular grocery stores! I was so discouraged reading other keto books because of the extreme focus on how "pure" the food must be. With a husband and five children I simply cannot afford to shop at the boutique markets. Very easy to understand and fun to read. I highly recommend this book.
I loved this book. I wanted to try the keto diet, but was put off by the thought of earing a lot of fat, and having to stick to limits of fat, protein and carbs. This books takes all of the anxiety and work out if it. It is an enjoyable read and I highly recommend it for anyone considering the keto diet.
I find many keto dieters and keto experts to be judgmental and rigid. This book was a refreshing and much needed change from the usual keto book. The book offers a kinder, gentler keto diet. The author understands that people have different needs and may require some "crutches" in some parts of their journey. I tend to feel deprived and back slide on diets that require food journaling and strict rules. She gives a lot of really good advice to keep on a keto inspired diet but in a way that allows some freedoms and adjustments for budget, individual tastes and/or dietary needs. An added bonus is that the author has a great sense of humor and the book is very readable. This is a must read book!
Love this book! THe author has a simple approach and explains it with a sense of humor. She states she is not an expert or professional, but she HAS lost 140 pounds! This book is so helpful from understanding the concept, shopping, menus and she does it in an easy to understand approach and you want to embrace it and start right away!
This is just what I was looking for...a guide to help me learn about Keto and at the same time, allow me to find a way to modify it more to work for myself...very easy guide to understand and learn about Keto. Written by someone who has walked the walk! Love it!
